You have not selected an email account

If you get the hint, then you need to check the “Set as default account” box as shown in the following image.


And this is how you get to the destination

Go to Settings/Email Accounts and double-click on the account you want to use as default account. The default email account is always highlighted in bold in the account settings window as shown in the picture.

Once the account in question is selected click the “Advanced settings” button and under the “General” tab check the “Set as default account” box.


There must always be one account checked off as the default account (even if you only use one account), otherwise the above error message will appear.

Note: Even if you have created only one email account, this must be marked as the default email account.
